Jean-Paul DuQuette Sometimes meanders a bit conceptually, but the vocals elevate this project. Worth checking out. Favorite track: Bound and Tethered.

Here we are In a world of disbelief Hidden in the shadows Lurking within us When will we see the light to love ourselves without remorse to absolve our thoughts without the pain beget upon us So it begins look into the mirror look into your eyes we live in society facade the challenges we face were born in us all quietly we walk but united we stand the stigma of mental impurity as we are all one in the same in the world collective we live with the hope that this can all be reborn and recovered as we advocate for... hope

Open Your Eyes What if I’m wrong? about what's left? Are those quick hands? are they built for theft Am I trapped in a thoughts train Or are there just too many ways To think about how we are all bound again Where is here What’s to fear? A pixelated prison Unbound to all my horizons Cherish this anguish Don’t let this scar be severed. Need to remember what I’ve weathered Velvet and Leathered Sensations on my skin, Icy and frigid, But not from the weather. We are Bound and Tethered. My dreams have grown dreary, As my bones become weary These ashes are the same, These ashes you became. Your soul fears defeat As we yearn to feel compete A life brought but pain But oh, g-d, please save my brain A Rope and scissors; Never be slashed, Never be severed. Velvet and Lethered, Sensations on my skin, Icy and frigid, But not from the weather. We are Bound and Tethered. Escaping ourselves is hazy When the roots of fear don’t show And we don’t agree what's crazy Our outlook is borrowed

When will I be free? Is there hope for me yet? People buzzing around But no one can see The chaos burning inside me Liberate me from this vessel Break me from the light Guide my path to this new world Divided by dissonance United by consonance Diminished and augmented We are one and the same You and I I just feel different within But isn’t that normal What is real What are these feelings Am I awake or asleep Is this just a dream Is this love I seek I don’t know anymore All I know is one thing I just want to be free I just want to be free
4.
The darkness comes to take us away The lights heal our spirits and keep us from decay They’re potent, strong and balanced in us all We will not shatter, our hope will not scatter And in this precious time I hope that we will find Renewal and rebirth to all humankind We will Shine This vessel is incomplete Imperfection guides me I think I can finally see Lights that guarantee Love and peace for this world No more racing thoughts unbound In times of terror, and pushing through the dirt We learn from our mistakes to keep from being hurt We float in the mystic, our thoughts are intrinsic And in this dream we all can be set free Release me This vessel is incomplete Imperfection guides me I think I can finally see A place of ecstasy In our hearts now We find love In our thoughts now We find the key

Here it Comes Here it Comes Here it Comes Here it Comes Here it Comes Here it Comes Here it Comes Here it Comes Here it Comes Here you are today Humbled and broken down Screw your prophecies This is where I break out With your bloodshot eyes You see the beast inside Hopeless wonder, hopeless plunder Come on try to fight this thunder Hopeless wonder, hopeless plunder Come on try to fight this thunder Come on try to fight back(angy insane voice) Who am I you say I am the one that lives inside your brain The one that tells you you’re no good The one you’d silence if you could I’m the one who laughs as you suffer Oh stop it you filthy duffer I’m Here to stay inside your mind There’s no way I’ll be left behind Controlling every urge you feel Hoping that one day you’ll kneel Scratching and Clawing to be let out Pain is what it’s all about Help Please Save me from this catastrophe I’m still here consumed by fear The side of you that always trusts you’ll make it through This beast inside that no one sees Is clawing now to be set free I will fight but not without The Fear of hate and fear of doubt I will overcome with the power of love I feel I can be healed But I won’t go without a fight Oh Come now don’t be like that You’re nothing more than scum to me You’ll never be enough, you’ll never be happy You’re scaring everyone away with your thoughts To them, you’re just a slimy rat Stigmatized you are to them Because they cannot understand The pain and suffering trying to fight Will people always leave in flight Your other side is meaningless There is no other pretense Help Please Save me from this catastrophe I’m still here consumed by fear The side of you that always trusts you’ll make it through This beast inside that no one sees Is clawing now to be set free I will fight but not without The Fear of hate and fear of doubt I will overcome with the power of love I feel... I can... be healed The clash of titans has begun Good and Evil sides are one Both are melding mind and brain Trauma begets once again How do we know how to feel Unless the truth is true to be revealed

All Birds deserve to fly Restless unless in the sky Winged in Fluorescent brilliance Glimmer with fire Shine on ablaze Closeness desire to feel love again All of the world is grey Confined here in the mundane Hard lines they define Time of our own design Glimmer with fire Shine on ablaze Closeness desire To feel love

The Joy that I’ve felt from the gift of your fall Guilt that has built I have to have you In the gift your aroma has turned by godsent You’re losing myself down in the trenches Love sadness and love pain Just ride them both like a wave Sensations please, deliver me This feeling of ecstasy The Pain that now burns this is fate now I see Oh, Brilliant light please shine within me United we strive and divided we die Exceeding this fate despite pain desolate Love of Love and Desolation Love of Love and Desolation Love of Love and Desolation Love Oh Love Oh Love

about

All Birds Deserve to Fly is a concept album detailing mental health struggles and the spiritual connection of Judaism. It is Aidan Israel's Brain Child. When one writes music they are meant to rip themselves open and expose them to the world. This album has been a long time coming and it truly is my life's work. I am beyond honored to share this with you all as it truly means the world to me. I hope this album connects with you and resonates with you in ways that inspires you to chase your dreams and defeat the things you struggle with This is in memory of my grandfather who struggled a lot and I hope this guides towards the light of peace and tranquility. The concept of Kadima which means "Forward" in Hebrew is meant to guide our light to a new level of spiritual understanding and wisdom. Thank you all to everyone that helped make this dream of mine come true. I never thought I would get to this point.
